iPad 3 And The Move To Cloud Services
Here’s a deeper look at cloud based services and the iPad 3. According to Matthew Bryson of Avian Securities, Apple is in the process of submitting their design specs to its supply chain for the iPad 3.
This news is prompting speculation that fans may see some features announced when we are exposed to the demo of the iPhone 5 and other new hardware by Apple later this year.
Cloud storage is definitely on the horizon, and is causing flash memory companies to get a little weary. They had not previously anticipated such a technology (so soon) that could really put a strain on their manufacturing demand and future altogether.
Bryson told investors:
Both Apple and Google will be the ones taking the forefront; leading the hardware, OS, cloud charge with a completely integrated product built around post-PC devices like the iPhone 5 and iPad 3.
Apple will ignite an industry wide move to the cloud
It’s likely that a good deal of the iPhone 5′s upgraded features will also be included in the iPad 3. Don’t mistake this for a simple platform update from the iPad 2, but rather you should expect to see some new iPhone 5 features as well as revolutionary changes in the iPad 3.
Since Apple wants to really break away from the post-PC era, cloud services are certainly something that would push them towards their goal. This should be great news for those who demand large storage capacity and wish to have the ability to call stored content that will be easily accessed in the cloud. Apple fans should anticipate large storage capabilities without the risk of bogging their machines down.
The iPhone 5 is likely to incorporate the new Sony cameras, an A5 processor, design changes, and hopefully cloud storage to name a few. This may be our first sneak peak at some of the features that will be included, or even enhanced come time for the iPad 3 release date. We believe that you can certainly count on an A6 processor however amongst the component upgrades for the iPad 3.
