iPad 3 Retina Displays To Be Made By Samsung? (Leaked Images)
Earlier today, we informed you about the assumed “A5X” chip for the iPad 3. As the iPad 3 is going to be launched in March, more news, leaks and rumors are spreading in the blogosphere. 9to5mac have found some photos on a Chinese forum about the iPad Retina Display production line. There are spy shots of the 2048 x 1536 display and a photo of Retina Displays packed up. The forum claims Samsung as the manufacturer of the displays (this is strange). Read more below!
The spy shots are blurry. The forum post has the following information (translated):
Radiant internal, iPad3 screen code J2, and these products are the name of the logo of Samsung Electronics, and even sealed box tape has the logo of Samsung Electronics. Screen made by samsung?!
Well… As far as I know Apple, they would never give their biggest adventage to their biggest competetor…. Or?!
ipad 3 is going to be out on March 2, the same as the ipad 2.
Apple is King when it comes to marketing, thats how they were able to convince millions to buy their product even though they’re usually more expensive, less user friendly, and lack luster of features compare to its competitors; Android. I’m one of those suckers. Own both Ipads and all the Iphones.
These images are all publicity stunts to rumor a crappy Ipad 3. But than BAM!!!! the real Ipad 3 turns out to be thinner and cooler looking than what was rumored. All the Apple Fanboys can go.. “see see apple has done it again and proved everyone wrong”…tsk tsk
just think. knowing Apple, if these were in fact real images of the Ipad 3, their legal team would be all over these websites.

I would first like to say that I respect your opinion over this matter. However, I do have to tell you that I question your Mac skill level. The “less user friendly” statement is clearly made by someone who isn’t using the product fully. If so, such a ridiculous statement as the one above, would have never been made. Apple products are far superior to any PC, not only in form, but in function as well. Steve Jobs knew what he was doing.
Now, as far as the, “lack luster of the features compared to the Android”, well, that is yet to be seen by me. I’ve never used the Android. Have you?
Can the Android listen to my command to call, email, text, or remind me and filful the request?
Anyway, I’m not sure you have this one right.
Just thought you might like to think about the possibility of Apple being in partnership with Samsung. Why not pay someone who can make it cheaper–keep costs low and profits high. Just a thought.

I think that it’s great that they’re getting their retina displays from Samsung, but Idk why they need to…. They did a great job on retinas for iPhone and iPod touch…
And Samsung, let’s face it, they were never really going to be able to compete. I haven’t seen an Android in months.
