There are some who believe iPad 3 will not feature 4G LTE connectivity even though many reputable sources have said so. iMore was one of those who informed about the Media event of March 7th and that report also questioned the LTE inclusion. The report informed 4G LTE networking is another mystery surrounding the iPad 3, with a compatible Qualcomm chipset becoming available, but the international coverage for LTE is still narrow and a year or more away in some cases. It seems that Apple will offer the feature in iPhone 5 rather than iPad 3.

However, the same source has reported back to the website to note that 4G LTE support will be offered in the iPad 3. iMore stated the same source who informed them about the March 7 media event has informed that the announcement will indeed include 4G LTE networking. The previous statement confirmed 4G LTE for iOS in 2012 but didn’t confirm whether it would be included in the iPad 3 or later in the iPhone 5.

The broadest adoption has been so far in the U.S, but event there it is rolling out with just Verizon being the furthest along with its plans. But there will be a lot of convincing for Apple to hold out before supporting LTE in the iPad 4, although there has been suggestions that the iPad 3 with LTE could make way later than Wi-Fi models or with limited distribution is markets where LTE is available furthest along.

We have also heard DHL is ready to handle the shipments.
