iPad 3’s display quality is something that has taken the market by storm. The iPad 3 has the best consumer display on the market at the moment. What surprises us is that in a blind test, the Apple Store customers couldn’t spot the difference between the iPad 3 and the iPad 2 in a blind test.

The folks over at TNW found that many people coming in and out of their local Apple Store couldn’t spot the iPad 3 from the previous model when quizzed in an unscientific test. Many of them were asked to identify the crisper, more densely pixel packed display and guess what? They choose the iPad 2.

It would be exciting to hear the reasons why the iPad 3 wasn’t selected over the iPad 2. However, many of the people choosing the iPad 2 have glasses, meaning the weakness of their eyesight may be the reason they were not able to distinguish the Retina quality in the display which as the fruit company says means the ability to distinguish one pixel from another with 20/20 vision. Another thing is the iPad 3 is said to be slightly warmer than the iPad 2. Some people who prefer cooler colors could have chosen the iPad 2 but that is just a thought!

While this is just a test, the people have gone crazy for the iPad 3 which has already sold 3 million units in the first weekend of sales. The iPad 3 has also been jailbroken by four different hackers!
