We are back with another post about the accessories that you can buy for your iPad 3. Earlier, we talked about different connectors and keyboards and we even told you all about different iPad covers and protectors in iPad 3: Cool accessories for your new tablet (part 1). Now, we are going to increase the list of accessories by telling you about iPad docks, audio, headphones and subscriptions that can increase you iPad 3 experience. Read all about it, after the break!

Docks and audio

Anyone who has a tablet knows that the speakers on the iPad aren’t what one might call as powerful. The speakers can perform well if you or your friend wants to listen to something together, however, they won’t be of any help if you want to throw a party. Give a read to the docks we have selected.

Bang and Olufsen BeoSound 8 (£895)

For people who can afford it, this device works well with the iPad 3. The design is unique, and it looks very well made. It even has a room adaption switch that can adjust the level of the bass speaker to clear the audio, depending on the environment the device is being used in.

The BeoSound 8 also works with a computer and iPhone. You can buy this product from the Apple Store.

Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin Air Speakers (£599)

This device has AirPlay connectivity, which allows users to wirelessly stream music from the tablet to the speaker. The design also catches the eye, and it’s meant to surround the whole room in sound.

You can get this device from Apple Store.

Philips DC390 (£110)

This device is affordable for a lot of people, if they are happy with loud sounds and not other features which other expensive docks can give them. This dock will increase the sound of your iPad and it can also be used to recharge your device too.

You can dock your tablet and your iPhone at the same time. You can get this device from the Apple Store.

Headphones

Selecting a new set of headphones can be a confusing task for many people. That’s why we have put aside some very good choices for you to look at.

Digital Silence DS-321D (£60)

The DS-321D are noise-cancelling headphones and are quite affordable. The functionality of these headphones can rival the headphones that are twice its cost.

You should give the DS-321D headphones a try!

Atomic Floyd Super Darts (£200)

These headphones are the best that the company has to offer to us all and they can be used with iPhones and iPads. The controls allow users to skip and pause music tracks without them having to take their device out from their bags.

You can get this device from Atomic Floyd’s official site.

Sennheiser IE 80 (£240)

This device is capable of providing you with detailed sound and turntable bass response. These headphones go well with the iPad.

You should check out the IE 80 if the cost isn’t an issue.

Subscriptions

We all know that apps are cheap. However, paying a little extra and getting an in app subscription can help in maximizing the iPad 3 experience. Below you’ll find a list of subscriptions, we find interesting.

Spotify Premium (£10 pcm)

Spotify premium allows you to stream unlimited music at a speed of 320kbps, and it even lets you save them in your iPad 3 and you can listen to them, ad-free on your computer.

You can consider this as iTunes with the difference being that you can have unlimited download. You can get it from their official site.

Sky Go (depends on the subscription)

This allows you to turn your iPad 3 or any other tablet into a portable TV. Depending on the subscription, it allows you to watch the F1 channel and even Sky Movies.

The picture quality is very good. It’s not cheap; however, you can have this for free if you have a Sky subscription. You can get it from their official site.

Netflix (£6)

If you like movies, then there’s no doubt that you should go for Netflix. It allows you to stream over 3G on the iPad, iPhone, Android, TV and about any piece of hardware, you can think of. It is quite cheap as it costs £6 a month and the movie quality is also very good.

You might not be able to find all the movies you want to watch, on Netflix; however, you’ll still have plenty of good choices that can help you kill a few hours and make use of the new screen on the iPad 3.
You can get Netflix by signing up on their official site.

A few Tips

In the end, we would like to say that the market is full of different accessories for the iPad 3 and other devices. That’s why you need to be careful when you buy a product. Do proper research and see if that product is meant for you before you go and buy it.
