4G LTE Networking Will Be Compatible With iPad 3

There are some who believe iPad 3 will not feature 4G LTE connectivity even though many reputable sources have said so. iMore was one of those who informed about the Media event of March 7th and that report also questioned the LTE inclusion. The report informed 4G LTE networking is another mystery surrounding the iPad 3, with a compatible Qualcomm chipset becoming available, but the international coverage for LTE is still narrow and a year or more away in some cases. It seems that Apple will offer the feature in iPhone 5 rather than iPad 3.

DHL Ready To Handle Large iPad 3 Shipments

Just a while ago, we posted about the freight problems going on due to the iPad 3 shipments. We have more news related to it! AppleInsider has been told that the well-known the well-known shipping company DHL is ready to handle large shipments from Apple. The person who contacted AppleInsider informed that changes to the price of air cargo through DHL have signaled a major planned Apple shipment from China to the United States. A “big change” in shipping costs is the evidence of this as Apple has taken up freight capacity on flights coming from Far East to America.

Earlier we reported that Best Buy has begun to receive cases of the iPad 3. We have more to add to the news. CultofMac has posted the photo of the case that Best Buy is piling up. It’s a variation on the existing Tragus Versavu 360 case for iPad 2. iPad 3 cases are shipping in bulk as we have already mentioned in our post earlier. Phonearena.com was informed of this by an anonymous tipster. The cases are said to be shipping in bulk as third-party manufacturers are planning for the sale soon after the launch event. We have already heard so much about the upcoming iPad 3. The launch event is scheduled for March 7th in San Francisco, California. The latest rumor comes from MIC Gadget who got their hands on the rumored parts for the iPad 3 Front Glass, 3rd party cases and the Rear Shell. They noted that the front panel does possess a Home button. According to 9to5mac, some source has revealed part numbers for some models of the iPad 3 along with an updated Apple TV set-top box. The report informs that the fruit company is releasing three different variants of the iPad 3 going by the code names J1, J2 and J2a. The J1 has been assumed to correspond to a Wi-Fi only model while the J2 variants correspond to models with cellular data capabilities. J33 product has also been referenced to which has been previously identified as the new Apple TV.

Two of UK’s foremost carriers by the names T-Mobile and Orange have joined forces in a new collaborative effort, and they’re reported to be readying point sales and demonstrations in outlets present nationwide for a new iPad. The spy shots of the purported iPad 3 front glass were leaked by Apple.pro, the Chinese blog. A few days ago, they were in action again pointing to an image depicting the thickness of the iPad 3’s shell compared to the current iPad 2. Using a good old digital caliper, the image reveals iPad 3 to be 9.50mm thick.
